Our appreciation to Constant Contact for helping us stay in touch with the Sioux Empire.

Success by 6Ò is a community partnership lead by the Sioux Empire United Way.  Our goal is to help all children succeed for life by establishing a comprehensive response to the needs of young children and their families.  This is achieved by:

  • Building Public Awareness – Building awareness of the needs of young families and an understanding of the importance to support families as an investment for the future.
  • Improving Coordination & Access to Needed Information & Services – Available to meet identified needs of families in the community.
  • Expanding Collaborations in the Community – Including business, government, education, and health & human service agencies to support the needs of families as they raise their children.
  • Family Support Visitation – Services are provided for moderate-income parents who are at high risk for abuse and neglect of their newborns.
  • Monthly Child Development Guide – The Sioux Empire United Way has contracted with both local hospitals to mail Parenting the First Year, a monthly guide, to all new parents.  This guide contains information from child development professionals.  To read issues of this guide, please click here.
